Galadima takes early lead as Adamawa APC governorship primary results trickle
Former Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Tijjani Galadima, has taken an early lead in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Adamawa State as results begin to trickle in from across the state.
Reports monitored by our correspondents indicate that Galadima is currently maintaining a strong advantage in the local government areas announced so far.
Authoritative party sources confirmed that the aspirant is leading in all five local government areas where official results have so far been declared. The councils include Maiha, Fufore, Mayo Belwa, Guyuk, and Demsa.
According to the emerging figures, Galadima is ahead of the other candidates with more than 30,000 cumulative votes from the five local governments.
The success reflects the extensive grassroots mobilization and strategic alliances built by the former PTDF boss ahead of the exercise.
His campaign had also enjoyed visible support from party loyalists and youth groups across several parts of the state in the days leading to the primary.
